Performance with Kristi
What does a typical privately-booked performance include?
Every performance is unique and planned specifically for you, so we'll discuss all of the details in
the planning. However, most of my performances include a formal performance, including some
time with props like zills, veil, or sword, and ending with a bit of time for audience interaction if the
venue/event atmosphere accommodate it. My goal is for you and your crowd to have a great time
and leave with a memorable experience!
How long does a typical performance last?
I recommend a 20-25 minute performance. That gives me the opportunity to perform for you but
also include a little fun with the audience as well. Everything is customizable though. If you're
looking for a shorter or longer time frame, lets discuss the options!
What is the cost?
My rate is based on the type of event and several other factors, so we can discuss fees as soon as
I'm more familiar with the details. A small fee may be charged to cover travel costs or last minute
planning if necessary. I accept cash, check, or credit card via PayPal.
Is tipping allowed/expected?
If you appreciate my performance and had a good time, I welcome your tips! However please wait
until I have concluded my performance to provide it. I will not allow anyone to place a tip into or onto
my costume while dancing.
We are hosting a family/corporate/professional event. Is a belly dance performance
appropriate for that type of event?
My mission is to provide a respectful, beautiful presentation of the belly dance art form which
expresses feminine dignity and honor. Absolutely nothing lewd or suggestive will be performed or
tolerated by audience members. The performance will be appropriate for all ages and events! If you
have questions or concerns, I encourage you to check out the rest of my website to understand
who I am, but then please feel free to discuss them openly with me via phone or email. I understand
the many misconceptions that exist about belly dance and I'm more than happy to talk with you
about my approach to dance. (Note that typical belly dance costuming does include a bare stomach. If your religious
beliefs conflict with this, please let me know so I can plan appropriately.)
Are you available for bachelor/bachelorette/divorce parties?
I do not perform for male bachelor/divorce parties. Please do not contact me if this is your interest.
I am however available for female bachelorette/divorce parties! Let's get together and dance, you'll
have a great time!!
Why should I hire you for my event?
When you hire entertainment for an important event or celebration, you want someone who is
passionate about what they do. I don't teach or perform because I need to; I dance because I love
to, and I want to share that joy with my audience!
